Hey there everyone!

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Rolf Hidding and I am the Chairman of the EBF Board for the year 2020-2021! I am 21 years old and born and raised in Dalen, a small village in the South-east of the beautiful province Drenthe. After finishing high school in 2017, I moved to our beloved city of Groningen. In Groningen, I studied International Business  and I also had the privilege to join the Honours College program. I can proudly say that I managed to finish both of these programs en can avert my full focus on the EBF and this board year.

One of the main highlights of my Bachelor’s degree was my minor abroad. In January 2020 I returned from Suzhou, China, after having studied and traveled there for half a year. This experience has helped me to develop myself greatly, therefore I would surely recommend to also do a semester abroad if you get the chance (when the COVID-19 situation is under control).

During my first and second year of International Business, I was Chairman of the EBF Speakers committee. You might have heard or even visited events as the Leadership Panel by Rabobank CEO Wiebe Draijer or the Eye-On Gas that we organised! After such an amazing experience of being an active member of the EBF, I knew I wanted to be more involved and return the favor! Hence, it is my pleasure to take up the mantle as the Chairman of the EBF Board and provide you with the excellent quality of service the EBF is renowned for. Together with my enthusiastic fellow Board members, this is a task I am thrilled to work on!
