EBF’s new consulting committee is here: meet the Groningen Consulting Association! GCA makes the consulting world accessible to ambitious students.

 

Whether you’re an aspiring consultant or you’re looking to gain skills for the business world, GCA is your platform. Being open to all levels of experience is core to our mission. 

 

All too often, gaining experience requires experience. We founded GCA to get you out of that feedback loop and into the opportunities you aim for. You’ll develop concrete skills, learn to problem-solve like a consultant, and set yourself apart.

 

GCA’s varied activities help you get a sense of what is expected of you in the field of work: 

• Case preparations accurately represent the situations you would face in a consulting company; learn how to rapidly break down complex problems, act quickly based on facts, and take decisive action in real time.
• Mock interviews help you get into the right mindset for when you finally face HR. Train your communication skills and nail your story risk-free - your job is not on the line (yet).
• CV help sessions help refine the first impression you make when applying for a job, highlighting what makes you the ideal candidate.
• Company visits take all the activities mentioned above and turn them into reality - visit our partners and work on anonymised real cases in teams. And above all else, maximise the unparalleled networking opportunities to kickstart your career!
• Case competitions give you the opportunity to represent GCA in nationwide competitions, working against the clock to beat candidates from all over the world.
