What impact will you make?

The Finance department is continuously faced with new challenges and expectations. To meet these expectations, many CFOs are realizing that they can deploy digital solutions to meet them. This requires expertise in strategic issues and implementation of complex transformations. As a Junior Consultant Finance & Performance, your colleagues and you will be advisors to CFOs of large organizations and help them navigate these issues through consulting

This is how

• advising Finance executives in making strategic choices to achieve their goals;

• defining strategic vision and translating it into practice;

• designing and implementing operating models such as Shared Service Centers and Centers of Excellence;

• establishing the (digital) level of the Finance department based on Deloitte best practices;

• identifying improvement opportunities in the Finance process through the introduction of new technologies;

• supporting Finance executives in setting up their digital strategy.

For the position of Junior Consultant Finance & Performance you should also have:

• a master’s degree, preferably in business administration, business economics, finance or econometrics;

• spent time on extracurricular activities such as student associations, boards, commissions, volunteering programs, sports associations or gained experience for internships;

• some relevant working experience;

• are available from October 2021 onwards (earlier starting date is not possible);

• a self-motivated and curious personality that is able to take initiative and ownership;

• an interest in working in an international and diverse team;

• excellent command of written and spoken Dutch and English (mandatory);

• an interest in digital trends and working with new technologies.

You will share your expertise with about 130 other colleagues in the Finance & Performance team that is part of Deloitte Consulting. Our team consists of three sub-teams, Operational Finance, Business Finance, and Enterprise & Strategy. We design, implement, and deliver solutions for financial transformations; from strategies, processes, and operations to supporting technologies. Our market offering covers the full breadth of Finance & Performance needs, from Robotics Process Automation and Finance Analytics to Finance Strategies and Finance Operating Models.
