The Global Business Development team is tasked with determining the long-term goals to realize our ambition and is responsible for the development of the Royal De Heus strategy, its M&A strategy and the execution of all related corporate transactions, such as acquisitions and joint ventures. The team, comprising of Janneke Haverkamp (Group Director Strategy & Business Development), Jurry van Rooijen (M&A Director) and Roy Hamstra (Strategy Manager), works closely with the business and global teams and supports the Executive Board and Supervisory Board on a wide range of strategic topics.

What will your responsibilities be?

As Global Business Development Analyst you will work with the business, your colleagues in Strategy and M&A and other functions to execute (specific parts of) M&A and strategy projects, mainly focused around insightful financial, operational, and market analysis. You play a key role in the development of the center-of-excellence for all strategy and M&A projects. You will play an active role in setting the Royal De Heus strategy and will maintain an internal and external network of stakeholders (Royal De Heus senior and middle management, investment banks, advisors, industry experts, private equity, acquisition targets and strategic partners in the food chain).

For the position of Global Business Development Analyst we are looking for candidates with the following profile:

  • 1-4 years relevant experience in Strategy and/or M&A, e.g. strategy consulting, PE, investment banking, M&A boutique, M&A big-4 or in-house Strategy and/or M&A;
  • Great analytical thinker and a high level of quality awareness;
  • Excellent project- and stakeholder management skills;
  • Experienced in financial modelling (e.g. valuations, business case development, market
  • analysis);
  • Proactive self-starter, strong communicator and team player.
