EBF Skills Day

Do you want to prepare yourself for your future career?

The EBF Skills Day, organised on the 21st of November 2022, is to give the EBF Members and the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) the chance to develop themselves professionally! The event will consist of different workshops that will give you more insight in what to expect in your career and how to prepare for that. The deadline to sign up is on the 20th of November 2022 at 23.59!

Sign up for the different workshops offered, you can sign up for as many as you want:

• Assessment Training: Hellotest x Scholte Boels (FEB Career Services)- 10:00-12:00

• Personal Branding Workshop: Scholte Boels (FEB Career Services) - 12:00-14.00

• CV Workshop: Career Services Team- 12:00-14:00

• Presenting With Impact Workshop: VONK Traineeships:  - 14:00-16:00

Important to know: You do not have to be present for the whole day! You can sign up for the workshops you would like to attend!

EBF/FEB E-Assessment Training - 10:00-12:00

Do you want to prepare yourself for the application procedure of your future (dream) job? Then the EBF/FEB Assessment Training is the perfect event for you!

Many companies nowadays include an Assessment in their application procedures. This training will improve your ability to execute an Assessment. Questionnaires and online ability tests can be completed at home or in a controlled environment. Components that often are included in the assessment tests of Companies are:

• Numerical Reasoning
• Logic Reasoning
• Verbal Reasoning

Personal Branding 12:00-14:00
Personal branding is the on purpose creating and influencing the public perception of ourselves. Would you like others to see you as a marketing specialist, a data analyst or a coach? After this workshop, you will be able to communicate your core values, competencies and skills in a personal brand

In this workshop you learn to:

• identify your own passions, talents and skills
• understand the link between knowing yourself and personal branding
• identify effective tools and techniques to market yourself
• formulate a personal brand statement

CV Workshop 12:00-14:00
It is important to make your CV stand out for your future career. In the CV Check, the FEB Career Services Team will help you to improve your CV! The following issues will be addressed in this training:

• the basics of a CV format and required content
• the perspectives of an employer
• how to personalize your CV to make you stand out from the crowd and get that job you desire

Presenting With Impact Workshop: VONK Traineeships 14:00-16:00
VONK organizes traineeships in all kinds of sectors. During a traineeship, you'll grow on a personal and a professional level. One the one hand from learning by doing during your newfound job, on the other hand from coaching, training and events.

Today we will focus on presenting with impact.

After this workshop, you:

• know what factors you can influence in your audience when speaking in public
• are familiar with effective presentation techniques
• know your own strong points and improvement points regarding public speaking
• can present in a confident way
• can apply effective presentation techniques
