Candidate Treasurer EBF Board 2025 - 2026

Hi! My name is Rick Huizenga, and this year I have the honor of serving as the Treasurer of the EBF.

I’ve been living in Groningen for almost three years now, enjoying student life together with my close group of friends. Outside of my studie, I like to stay active by going to the gym, visiting festivals, and spending some of my weekends as a drive-in DJ together with a good friend of mine.

I chose the position of Treasurer because of the key role it plays within the board and the EBF as a whole. I’m excited to deepen my knowledge in financial policy and administration throughout the year. The challenges that come with this role only motivate me more—they’ll help me grow, stay energized, and make the most out of this board year.
