Project & Inclusion Officer

Hi everyone! 

I am happy to introduce myself as the new Project & Inclusion Officer of the 20th EBF Board! My name is Marlijn Blekkenhorst, I am 21 years old and currently finishing my Bachelor’s in International Business. I grew up in a small town in Overijssel and moved to Groningen for my studies. One of the highlights of my Bachelor so far was my exchange to Lisbon, where I had an amazing time and met many great people.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy trying out new cafés and lunch spots, visiting festivals and parties, but also going for walks or taking an ACLO class with my friends. In addition, I work in the hospitality sector, which I really enjoy because of the close interaction with guests and the chance to work as a barista.

As I was unsure how to spend my gap year, the opportunity to do a Board year at the EBF felt like the perfect next step to gain valuable experience before starting my Master’s.

I am really looking forward to an unforgettable Lustrum year and to meeting you all at our events!
