Master Committee | International Economics & Sustainable Development

The Master Committee International Economics & Sustainable Development is responsible for organising events specifically for students of the MSc International Economics & Sustainable Development. You will organise both formal and informal events and will be responsible for creating a strong community feeling within your master's programme. Moreover, you will ensure that students within your master have the opportunity to get in contact with relevant companies and with each other. Furthermore, joining the Master Committee gives you the opportunity to do something interesting alongside your studies while developing valuable organisational and communication skills.

The Master Committee has a lot of freedom in deciding which events they want to organise. It is mandatory to organise at least one formal event and one informal event during the year. One of the formal events organised by this committee is the Brussels Tour, where students get the opportunity to visit European institutions and organisations in Brussels and learn more about international economic and sustainable development topics. Besides this, the committee organises informal events to strengthen the community feeling within the master. The workload of this committee is manageable, which makes this an ideal committee to combine with pursuing your master’s degree.

As a Master Committee member, you will have the opportunity to be creative, take responsibility, and make a meaningful contribution to the student experience within your master's programme. Besides that, you will have access to resources and networks of EBF and FEB, which makes this a great opportunity to expand your network.
