Movie Night - Ukraine Fundraiser

Over the past few months, we have seen a brutal war unfold in the east of Europe. In response to this, we all witnessed huge efforts by neighboring countries, mobilizing aid to help the people at the frontline of this war in Ukraine or fleeing from it. It is important not to get desensitized to this brutality but to continue to help Ukraine and stand strong against this war in unity.

That's why EBF is hosting a movie night to raise funds for Ukraine. Spend your Monday night with your friends and watch a movie you can vote for on Instagram - so keep an eye on our Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/ebfgroningen/ 

Before the movie starts, you'll also hear a short talk by a Ukrainian speaker who will tell you a  more about Ukraine itself and its rich culture.

(Note that the ticket price is a minimum donation, but you are welcome to donate more when purchasing the ticket or at the event itself.)

During the movie night, 1-2 beers per person will be provided. You are also welcome to bring snacks and other drinks for you and your friends! The event starts at 8 pm at the Student Hotel Groningen, which has kindly offered us their facilities to host the event!
