On February 19th, the EBF is hosting the Women in Business event at the Van der Valk Hotel Groningen. This inspiring afternoon will feature engaging keynote speakers, hands-on case studies with leading companies, and valuable networking opportunities to help you take the next step in your career.

Keynote Speakers

The afternoon begins with two inspiring speakers who will share their personal journeys and insights on leadership, resilience, and success in business:

  • Claudia Zuiderwijk – An accomplished entrepreneur and leader in the Dutch business community, CEO of the GVB (Public transport operator for Amsterdam)

  • Marianne Verhaar-Strijbos – An experienced executive and advocate for gender equality in the workplace, Former manager of private wealth management ABN AMRO, and entrepreneur in the financial sector advising wealthy families.

Their stories will motivate you to pursue your ambitions with confidence and determination.

Case Studies with KPMG & ITDS

Following the keynote speeches, you’ll have the chance to participate in a case study session with one of two leading companies:

  • KPMG – A global leader in audit, tax, and advisory services.

  • ITDS – A consultancy firm specializing in digital transformation and innovation.

These case sessions provide a practical experience to get to know these companies. 

Networking Drinks

The event will conclude with networking drinks, where you can meet professionals from KPMG, ITDS, and GVB in an informal setting. This is your chance to make meaningful connections and explore future career opportunities.
