Dutch Economy Tour Committee

Help launch the Dutch Economy Tour and bring the Dutch economy to life for hundreds of first-year students.

Join the Dutch Economy Tour Committee to build something new, connect with professionals and help first-year Economics and Business Economics students discover where their studies could take them.

Taking place in the second semester, the tour brings students inside companies and organisations across Groningen and the Randstad. Potential destinations include De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), Euronext, Gasunie, Groningen Seaports and PwC, alongside institutions such as CBS and CPB. Through company visits, conversations with professionals and interactive activities, students will explore different industries and experience how economics and business work in practice.

As part of the founding committee, you’ll help shape the experience from the start. Working closely with FEB, you and your team will arrange company visits, develop the programme and coordinate the logistics. From your first conversation with an organisation to seeing students arrive on the day, you’ll take real responsibility and see your work come to life.

Along the way, you’ll build your professional network, strengthen your organisational skills and gain concrete experience to discuss in future internship and job interviews. You’ll also help establish the foundations for future editions of the tour.
