IBR BOARD POSITIONS
Chairman: Tom Knippers
The main task of the Chair is to maintain an overview of the project. Additionally, Tom maintains contact with the general external parties of the project, the faculty, and EBF, and is accountable to the IBR Foundation. He also spends a significant amount of time on acquisition and assists the Vice Chairs with participant and board selection. Together with the Externals in particular, he maintains close contact with the Advisory Board members and chairs the Advisory Board meetings. Furthermore, he keeps in touch with IBR alumni.
Vice Chairman & Treasurer: Kees Cruys
The main tasks of the Vice Chairs are organizing the participant selection process, managing the entire participant trajectory, and arranging training sessions for both the participants and the board. The Vice Chairs are also responsible for the board selection. In addition, they maintain contact with the supervising professors and support the Externals with acquisition. Besides his role as Vice Chairman, Kees also serves as Treasurer and is responsible for all financial matters related to IBR.
Vice Chairman & Travel Logistics: Eefje van Soest
The main tasks of the Vice Chairs are organizing the participant selection process, overseeing the entire participant journey, and arranging training sessions for both the participants and the board. The board selection is also carried out by the Vice Chairs. Additionally, they maintain contact with the supervising professors and support the Externals with acquisition. Furthermore, Eefje fulfills the role of Travel Logistics together with Anna. The Travel Logistics team is responsible for all matters related to the trip to Chile and Brazil.
Public Relations & Travel Logistics: Anna Kok
The main tasks of PR and Travel Logistics include handling the public communication to- and the promotion of the participants, board, and companies. In addition, Anna supports the Vice Chairs during the participant selection process and she will also assist the Externals wherever possible. Furthermore, she is responsible for organizing the entire trip to Chile and Brazil together with Eefje. They are also in charge of planning the weekend trips in South America.
External Relations: Lois Mei, Melle van der Woude, Esmee Knulst & Stijn Strop
The main task of the External Relations team is acquisition, which involves securing contract research projects. In addition, they attend seminars and fairs, and maintain contact with organizations and members of the Advisory Board. Besides approaching companies themselves, they also guide the participants throughout the acquisition process. Together with the acquisition committees, they visit fairs and seminars with the goal of securing fourteen contracts.
